Big Island Ceremony Locations

The Big Island of Hawaii has many beautiful locations for your Big Island wedding and Hawaii island vow renewal. There are more options than the beach recommendations listed below. If you have a special request for a Big Island wedding ceremony location, please contact us.

Most romantic Big Island wedding sunset beach locations are located along the Kohala coast located north of Kailua-Kona between the Kona International Airport, Waikoloa Beach resorts and the northern pat of the Koahal coast. Kona weddings are very popular for many couples as you enjoy less crowded beaches with beautiful settings for picturesque Kona sunsets and there are several options near Kailua-Kona town, as well as south and north.

On the East shores you find secluded black sand beaches, waterfalls and Hilo town with its romantic park like settings along the coast and the ocean.

We will be happy to assist in your decision to find the perfect Big Island wedding ceremony location for your special day.

The max amount of participants in a wedding or ceremony at Hawaii's public beaches is limited to a maximum of 25 people (including all vendors  with the exception of Kikaua Beach Park where the maximum is 20 people).
Romantic vow renewals on the Big Island of Hawaii are a favorite of many married couples that enjoy celebrating their anniversary in Hawaii on a secluded beach or alternate location such as a beautiful vacation rental with unobstructed ocean views or private estates. You cannot find these anywhere else in Hawaii! The Big Island is the best-kept secret for a private beach wedding or romantic private estate celebration.
