Kiholo Bay

Kiholo Bay is a breathtaking black sand beach located between Kona and Waikoloa, offering a dramatic and truly Hawaiian setting for an intimate wedding ceremony. With it's black sand and expansive ocean views, it’s one of the most unique and beautiful locations on the Big Island.

Weddings are welcome at Kiholo Bay; however, commercial vendors are not permitted to apply for the location permit on behalf of couples. The permit must be obtained directly by the couple, and the process is simple. Applications should be submitted minimum 45 days in advance, and I’m happy to guide you and assist with any questions along the way.

Because Kiholo Bay is conveniently located near Kona, weddings here may be booked with any of our standard wedding packages - it does not require a Black Sand Beach-specific package.
